The role of the Systems Administrator is to have overall responsibility for provisioning, installing, configuring and maintaining servers, networking and end user related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work with team members in varying fields to meet project goals. This role will require a sense of urgency in getting things completed in a timely manner with a high degree of quality. The ideal candidate is a self-sustaining go-getter and expected to prioritize and maintain their tasks/projects in the best interests of the business. Essential Functions

· Support and develop server and network infrastructure
· Provide technical support for all supported hardware and software.
· Monitor systems, logs and events and respond accordingly.
· Design and develop new servers, networking and other infrastructure projects.
· Test and deploy system upgrades as needed.
· Maintain firewalls, VPNs and routing between locations.
· Update and create documentation of all networking, servers and configurations.
· Research, develop and deploy new technologies.
· Perform periodic backup restores in an off-line environment for auditing purposes and proof of system capabilities.
· Provide disaster recovery support.

Education & Experience
· Associate or higher degree in related field
· 3 years' experience in System Administration
· 3 years' experience with Server 2019 or higher.
· 2 years' experience with Windows 10
· Experience with Highly Available solutions such as Hyper V/Vmware.
· Experience with VLANs
· Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
· Valid WA State Driver License
· Current motor vehicle insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
Language Skills
· Must be able to read, speak and comprehend English.
· Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The Systems Administrator generally works in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to think, focus thoughts, talk, hear and comprehend. The employee must be able to sit for long periods. Must be able to use hands to control, handle or feel objects or tools, including computer peripherals. Must frequently be able to walk various distances including stairs. May occasionally need to lift moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried position. Employee must work on-site during regular business hours unless traveling for business. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position may require up to 20% travel. Most travel is within the local area and does not require overnight stays. Occasionally, travel outside the local area and overnight stays will be required.
