Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality caregiving and assistance to residents during overnight shifts, including mobility support and personal care.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols (Med Tech)
- Monitor vital signs and observe residents for changes in health status, promptly reporting findings to nursing staff.
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and other clinical tasks utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Support residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity are prioritized at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, including those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments preferred; experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement, catheter care, tube feeding support, and other clinical tasks confidently.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management to ensure resident privacy and data security.
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to senior care, hospice support, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
