Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Robotics System Engineer, based in Nampa, ID. It is for our second shift, Fri-Sun 12hr days. The Robotics System Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and implementing robotic solutions to automate modular construction processes. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing robotic systems. The role emphasizes innovation to improve operational efficiency and optimize production processes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Robotics and Process Automation for maintaining, designing and implementing automated systems.
- PLC programming skills using structured text (B&R preferred).
- Experience with ABB Rapid programming.
- HMI development.
- Strong Analytical Skills to troubleshoot logic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in Software Development for robotic systems programming and integration.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols in robotics and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment is a plus.
