As a Service Advisor / Assistant Service Manager, you will provide courteous and professional service to customers, accurately identifying vehicle service needs and promoting appropriate services, parts, and accessories. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Inspect vehicles and review service history to determine required services.
- Promote relevant services, parts, and accessories based on customer needs.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and completion times, securing customer authorization.
- Monitor service progress and communicate updates or adjustments to customers.
- Administer warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
- Confirm service appointments prior to customer arrival and conduct follow-up calls after service completion.
- Inspect vehicles prior to delivery to ensure quality and communicate results to customers.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding repairs and consumer protection.
