Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Mountain Home, AR. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire services. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, completing automotive repairs, and addressing customer concerns related to vehicle performance and safety. The role involves working on suspension and other key systems, documenting all work performed, and following shop procedures and safety guidelines. The technician will collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure timely, accurate repairs and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine services such as inspections, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Hands-on experience with Oil Changes and related preventive maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair across multiple vehicle systems.
- Working knowledge of Suspension systems, including diagnosis and repair of related components.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technical manuals effectively.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced shop environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training, certifications (e.g., ASE), or dealership/independent shop experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate a variety of vehicles.
