About the Role:
The Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs automotive lifts and other garage equipment. This position requires travel, including extended overnight stays and week-long trips along the East Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair automotive lifts and garage equipment for both residential and commercial customers.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
- Clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to customers while delivering best-in-class service.
- Accurately record service work, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency service requests.
- Continuously sharpen technical skills through structured training and real-world experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a demonstrated aptitude for mechanical work.
- Trade school diploma and/or experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical work, preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a DOT physical within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work safely at heights up to 25 feet.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety practices.
