What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Automotive Dealership?
We are a family-owned dealership that offers both domestic and import vehicles, located in the Northwest Chicagoland Suburbs. We have a General Manager position available. We have consistently ranked at or near the top in volume for both our Import and Domestic brands and are seeking the right candidate to grow our business responsibly. We offer a long-term customer base to work with. While we are confident in our ability to compete on price, we are looking for someone who will expand our business by training, recruiting, and developing our sales staff with positive leadership, energy, and expertise. This candidate should have a proven track record in working at a high-volume store and/or demonstrating a history of increasing volume in their current or previous dealership. The position offers significant autonomy with hands-off ownership, demanding complete commitment and dependability.
You will be expected to:
- Lead by example.
- Implement customer-friendly processes that maximize volume and growth, with a focus on increasing used vehicle sales.
- Set and achieve objectives for all departments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop and execute a marketing and sales strategy that secures top market share within and beyond your regional zones, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Regularly report departmental production to upper management.
- Possess knowledge in Finance, Internet Sales, Used Vehicles, and New Vehicle Sales.
- Exceed the advertised pay level in this listing.
