The Residential Electrical Sales Technician is responsible for diagnosing electrical issues, recommending solutions, and providing customers with clear, professional options for repairs, upgrades, and installations. This role combines hands-on electrical expertise with strong customer service and sales skills to deliver quality solutions while building trust and growing company revenue.
On Time Professionals, a Division of Automated Systems of Iowa, has been in business since 1980 servicing the State of Iowa. With a combined expertise of over 50 years of experience, the team is prepared to assist its customers with all their systems from installation to reoccurring maintenance.

Job Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential electrical systems
- Inspect electrical systems and identify safety and upgrade opportunities
- Provide estimates and explain repair, replacement, and upgrade options
- Recommend solutions based on customer needs and system condition
- Maintain accurate job records and required documentation
- Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
- Maintain a professional customer experience and clean work area
Job Requirements:
- HS diploma/GED required
- 3 years residential electrical service experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid Iowa electrical license
- Must be willing to join the union upon hire
