Automated Systems, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Facilities Space Planner to support the rapid expansion of our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. As the site continues to add hundreds of employees, contractors, laboratories, manufacturing areas, and support functions, this role will play a key part in ensuring the right people are in the right spaces to keep operations running efficiently.
You'll lead workplace and occupancy planning across office, laboratory, manufacturing support, warehouse, and shared workspaces while partnering with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, HR, IT, Security, and Quality teams. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workplace and occupancy planning for a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturing campus.
- Maintain office, laboratory, warehouse, manufacturing support, and shared-space occupancy plans.
- Partner with Facilities, Engineering, HR, Operations, IT, Security, and Quality to support workforce growth and space allocation.
- Recommend office moves, seating plans, contractor workspaces, and departmental relocations.
- Analyze space utilization and identify opportunities to improve occupancy and workflow.
- Review floor plans, seating layouts, and facility drawings to support planning activities.
- Coordinate with project teams during renovations, expansions, and organizational changes.
- Support implementation and ongoing administration of the site's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
- Track occupancy metrics, space utilization, and future capacity requirements.
- Assist with field verification, space audits, and move coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, Interior Design, Construction Management, Planning, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in space planning, workplace strategy, facilities management, occupancy planning, campus planning, lab planning, manufacturing support planning, or IWMS/CAFM administration.
- Experience supporting space planning in a complex site environment with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Ability to interpret floor plans, occupancy plans, department layouts, seating charts, and facility drawings.
Salary : $60 - $80
