Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure optimal engine performance
- Conduct tire rotations, replacements, and basic tire inspections to promote safety and longevity
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, filter replacements, and light inspections
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to carry out routine repairs and maintenance procedures
- Support alignment services by preparing vehicles and assisting technicians as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering vehicle-related questions
Skills
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and basic repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during maintenance procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
