Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of automotive parts, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the sales process within our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive diagnostics, along with excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain inventory levels of automotive parts, ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their vehicles.
  • Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate with customers and suppliers professionally.
  • Support sales management efforts by promoting parts and accessories to customers.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms for parts procurement.
  • Maintain organized records of inventory transactions using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs.
  • Provide multilingual support to enhance customer experience in diverse communities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive diagnostics is essential.
  • Proficiency in inventory management practices and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
  • Familiarity with sales management processes is beneficial.
