Duties
- Assist with material handling, including loading, unloading, and moving supplies and finished products
- Support manufacturing processes by preparing work areas and organizing tools and equipment
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to established safety standards and protocols
- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, and eye protection
- Maintain cleanliness of workspaces to promote a safe and efficient environment
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Support team members in meeting production goals by completing assigned tasks promptly and accurately
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with basic machinery operation is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Knowledge of PPE use and maintenance to ensure personal safety at all times
- Excellent physical stamina, agility, and attention to detail
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
