Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site cleanup and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively for tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing
- Perform concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and cutting to create durable structures
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to workplace safety regulations and protocols
- Assist with heavy equipment operation such as concrete pumps or mixers as needed for efficient project flow
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure construction environment at all times
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as concrete finisher or masonry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools is essential
- Experience with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork is highly valued
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary
- Strong understanding of various construction techniques.
