Are you passionate about connecting talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities? We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Insurance Agency Recruiter to identify, attract, and recruit high-quality candidates interested in owning and operating their own insurance agency.
In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for prospective agency owners, guiding candidates through the recruiting process and helping them determine whether agency ownership is the right fit. You'll build strong relationships, manage a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates, and work closely with leadership to identify individuals who have the skills, drive, and financial readiness to build successful businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit prospective insurance agency owners through networking, referrals, social media, job boards, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidates' experience, business acumen, financial qualifications, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates using CRM and recruiting systems.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and leadership.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process, providing updates and answering questions.
- Track recruiting activity, candidate progression, and key recruiting metrics.
- Attend recruiting events, career fairs, networking functions, and community events as needed.
- Develop relationships with local organizations, business groups, and referral partners to generate candidate leads.
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve recruiting strategies and candidate quality.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, sales, business development, or relationship management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable conducting phone interviews and building relationships with prospective candidates.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
