As a Sales and Service Trainee, you will learn and support all routes as needed and perform service-related tasks. When not on route, you may be assisting with installation of a machine at a new account, rebuilding of machinery/equipment at the branch, or any other tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Key Duties:

• Route Driving: This position requires the operation of a company box truck. The potential candidate must have ability to obtain a CDL with hazmat endorsement after 90 days of hire & comply with DOT regulations. Safely operate the company vehicle, perform regular inspections and ensure vehicle is stocked with all necessary equipment needed to service accounts. Accurately prepare & complete any route paperwork.
• Equipment Service: Perform mechanical preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery at customer locations. Act with a sense of urgency when responding to service calls.
• Customer Service: Maintain open communication with customers, ensuring customer loyalty & satisfaction. Educate customers & provide training on any equipment or products as needed.
• Account Management: Prepare invoices, collect payment and settle customer accounts as needed.

Requirements:

• Clean & insurable driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Strong mechanical aptitude/comfortability working with machinery
• Experience using hand & power tools
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Excellent customer service
• Maintain effective communication with customers, team members & supervisors
• Availability for on-call & emergency service schedules
