Electrical Systems Engineer – IoT Equipment (Hardware Focus)

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on electrical systems, circuitry, and product integration within a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the technical liaison between internal teams and a 3rd-party IoT development partner
- Oversee integration of electronic components into commercial equipment
- Support product development from prototype through manufacturing
- Evaluate electrical schematics, circuitry, and system performance
- Partner with Mechanical Engineering on sensor and system integration
- Ensure equipment performs reliably in real-world conditions (water, electrical, industrial use)
- Support regulatory compliance (UL, NSF, CSA, etc.) and maintain technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and field operations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree or comparable years of work experience.
- 5-10 years of electrical and electronic design experience, along with experience working with regulatory agencies. Experience in the commercial appliance industry is preferred.
- Embedded Software/hardware design
- Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA)
- Electrical/electronic circuit design
- CAD Modeling – Autodesk Inventor Preferred
