Job Description
Autism Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Training & Development Manager (BCBA) to lead a specialized in-home program supporting a 35-year-old individual with severe autism.
This role requires a leader who understands that relationship-building is the foundation of effective support. Success in this position depends on the ability to train and guide staff to build trust, ensure consistency, and deliver compassionate, person-centered care.
You will oversee a team of approximately 12 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring strong relationships, high-quality care, and consistent program implementation.
Responsibilities
- Provide BCBA oversight with a strong emphasis on relationship-based, person-centered care
- Train staff to build trust, rapport, and consistency with the individual
- Ensure fidelity of behavior support plans while prioritizing dignity and respect
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of DSPs
- Develop staff through coaching, modeling, and hands-on training
- Manage schedules and ensure consistent staffing and coverage
- Monitor staff performance and maintain accountability
- Ensure compliance with NJ DDD standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification (required)
- 3 years of ABA experience, including staff supervision
- Experience supporting individuals with severe autism
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Ability to build and model meaningful, trusting relationships
- Experience in residential or in-home settings preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $65,000
