Overview
Autism Wellbeing is a small, non-profit Medicaid provider serving adults with severe IDD. Our goal is to ensure superior care for individuals needing 24/7 support. We are currently looking for coverage Sunday and Mondays between 7 AM to 8PM
AN ADDITIONAL $2.00/Hr. will be paid between 7 AM and 8 PM on Sunday.
We are looking for someone who can develop a strong level of trust with a 35 year old young man with autism.
Responsibilities
- Work as a team to provide attentive and compassionate care to resident, focusing on individual needs and preferences in order to increase their independence and wellbeing.
- Responsible for keeping all property including home and car clean and organized
- Support the development of independence in daily living activities, including , grooming and hygiene .
- Maintain behavioral and medical data and capture observations in daily clinical notes and analysis.
- Maintain a clean and safe, and joyful environment.
- Keep client engaged and included in daily activities and routines.
- Implement care plans as directed by Floor Supervisor and BCBA, ensuring adherence to resident rights and dignity.
- Perform CPR and other emergency procedures when necessary, maintaining readiness for any situation that may arise.
