Role Description
The Behavioral Health Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, who range in age from 2 to 12 years old, on average. Responsibilities include implementing behavioral interventions, collecting and recording data on client progress, and collaborating with clinical supervisors (BCBAs) and families. This is a part-time, on-site role located in San Diego, CA, or Chula Vista, CA. The position requires consistent interaction with clients in their home and community or clinic settings to optimize learning and development.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA preferred but not required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
- Understanding of Behavioral Intervention methods and techniques (training provided).
- Background or education in Psychology, or a related field, is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, fun and adaptable attitude when working with clients and families.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
Salary : $20 - $25
