About the Role:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our clinic facilities, ensuring that they are operating at their best for both employees and clients. This includes performing routine maintenance, addressing repair needs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming and safe environment for all.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include general facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner. A proactive approach to facility care, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all facility systems.
- Address repair needs promptly to minimize disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure overall building safety and functionality.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any issues or needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Keep up-to-date inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the setup and arrangement of furniture for special events or daily operations as needed.

What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications in facilities maintenance preferred.
- 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of facility-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is not required.
- Compensation: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Compensation increases are based upon the candidate's demonstrated skill level, knowledge, provided tools, personal transportation, and ability to work unsupervised.
- Travel: Required between all current and future clinic locations.
- Screening: Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required to ensure safe travel for this position.
- Professional Standards: Maintaining a professional look and positive attitude is imperative. Two uniform shirts will be supplied by AB Spectrum.
- Attendance: Attendance is everything - it is the most important aspect of this role.
