Since 2013, the Autism Academy for Education and Development (AAED) has opened six campuses in the Metro Phoenix and Tucson areas including our online campus. We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team of passionate individuals.
The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is essential to the delivery of high-quality speech therapy services and are responsible for providing speech therapy services and support to students at AAED in the school setting under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). SLPAs play an important role in the therapy team by providing valuable support to their supervising SLP and students.

Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $42,500 – $59,500 (based on experience)
- Equivalent hourly: ~$28–$39/hour
- Pay Structure: Salaried (paid evenly over 12 months – 24 paychecks)
- Bonus: $2,500/year for active ASHA C-SLPA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Time Off (Built into Your Role)
- 2 weeks Fall Break
- 2 weeks Spring Break
- 2 weeks Winter Break
- ~7 weeks Summer Break

- Location: North Phoenix/Glendale Campuses (Split-Campus Position) *You will work between both locations as part of a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services under SLP supervision (small groups)
- Implement IEP goals and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers and therapy team
- Complete quarterly progress reports and documentation
- Maintain therapy schedules and lesson plans
Qualifications
- Active Arizona SLPA License
- Valid Level 1 IVP AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Passion for working with students with autism and communication disorders
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or autism settings (preferred)
- Experience supporting students with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), including AAC devices or communication systems (preferred)
