Job Description

Our Lawn technicians specialize in numerous facets of lawn care including fertilization, weed control, perimeter pest control, mosquito control, landscaping including tree and shrub, as well as aeration and seeding. We take pride in helping residential and commercial properties throughout Ohio look and feel their best. Our team combines years of experience with a passion for lawn care to deliver results that keep lawns healthy and safe throughout every season. We make it a point to treat our customers' properties like our own and ensure that the end result not only meets but exceeds their expectations.

Hours

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday’s as needed no Sunday’s
  
  

Wages: $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience. Experience and ODA licensing will be compensated.

Job Functions

Lawn Squad provides lawncare, landscaping, and fertilizing along with pest and mosquito services throughout the greater Cleveland area. This involves customer communication, answering questions and customer concerns. Requires a neat, clean personal appearance and supporting a clean work vehicle and equipment.

Company Relationships

The lawn technician collaborates with other staff members in the branch who can help resolve a customer’s concern.

Lawn Technician Duties (included but not limited to)

• Collaborating with customers to ensure their property meets their expectations.
• Always be honest and respectful to customers.
• Collaborate with other staff as part of a team effort and sharing the responsibilities.
• Performing treatments to the customer’s lawn using proper equipment and techniques while showing professionalism.
• Ability to explain the Lawn Squad programs to the customer or prospective customer with honesty, accuracy, and integrity.
• Conduct service calls using the outlined Lawn Squad procedures.
• Stay in contact with customers to prevent lawn problems.
• Ensure the service vehicle and all equipment are used and maintained in a clean and safe condition.
• Valid driver’s license with minimal infractions in the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more throughout the day.
• Project a professional image to the public.
• Demonstrate a commitment to working the required hours each day to ensure that branch production goals are consistently met.
  
  

The lawn service technician handles offering new services to both existing and potential clients, performing initial problem assessments, and suggesting suitable solutions. The lawn service technician may also enlist the help of anyone at the branch for help.
