Business Analyst / Senior Analyst

Authority Brands is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Senior Business Analyst to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Finance, this individual will play a critical role in supporting data analysis, reporting, and analytics across our procurement, payments and consumer financing ecosystems. This role provides exposure to various teams and leaders, and suits candidates with strong financial acumen, experience handling large datasets, advanced Excel and modeling abilities, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Data management and financial analysis
• Ingest, transform, and standardize data from vendors and lenders across multiple sources and formats, ensuring accuracy and consistency for financial and operational reporting.
• Build and maintain models to support rolling forecasts and key reconciliations, including timely estimates for monthly accounting and planning purposes.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and model key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision making.
• Partner with the Senior Director to develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the procurement, payments, and consumer financing business units.
• Reporting Innovation and Transformation
• Proactively identify opportunities for data automation, process efficiency, and new insights to enhance decision-making capabilities across the organization.
• Partner with business intelligence team to transform data digitally into dashboards
• Continuously improve data models and reporting mechanisms to meet evolving business needs and support scalable growth.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Build, maintain and manage strong relationships both internally and externally with cross-functional business leaders and third-party vendors.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support for business leaders, including assistance with contract negotiations and strategic initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, strategy, financial reporting, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (e.g., PowerBI, NetSuite, Hyperion, or similar) from multiple sources, or willingness to learn
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and an eagerness to learn in a multi-brand environment with shifting priorities
• Franchising industry experience preferred
