This full-time Adolescent Eating Disorder Therapist role is a hybrid position based in Deerfield, IL, with flexibility for some remote work. The therapist will provide individual and group therapy to adolescents struggling with eating disorders and associated conditions. Responsibilities include developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, conducting assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting clients and their families through the recovery process.
- Expertise in therapeutic techniques, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy
- Understanding of and experience with treating eating disorders and associated mental health conditions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of weight-inclusive care and a commitment to the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- State licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPC) or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
