What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intervention (K-2) Tutors position at Austintown Local Schools?
AEA internal applications will be accepted online until 2:00 pm on 4/16/2024
The need and number of positions will be determined by the needs of the students enrolled
Compensation: $20 per hour (Title I Grant Funded for qualified applicants)
Meeting: Potential after-school meeting before school is out
Program Training: One (1) day during the week before the program start, date TBD; 8am-3pm
Program Runs: June1 through June 26 from 7:45 am - 1:30 pm (no school on June 19)
Title I Qualifying Credentials:
- Appropriate and valid Ohio Teaching License in one of the following areas:
- (K-3); (K-8); (1-8); (PreK-5); (P-3)
- Candidates holding a non-qualifying teaching license will be paid from the general fund
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures
- Assist teaching staff in executing the Ohio State Standards
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administration
Requirements: The following are required before starting the assignment
- Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credential
- Current favorable State and Federal background checks
- Official Sealed Transcripts
- Negative drug screen
