Salary:
AEA Members: 3% of the base salary on the AEA Certified Salary Schedule
Non-AEA Members: 3% of the base salary on the Non-Degreed Certificated Salary Schedule
Essential Duties :
- Must have extensive knowledge of percussion technique and instruction
- Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior
- Positive, high energy, and committed
- Partner well with the band staff
- Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as a cohesive team
- Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members, and directors
- Responsible, professional, and embodies high ethical standards and integrity
- Attend drumline rehearsals, marching band rehearsals, and marching band performances
- Attend spring training rehearsals for band trip and spring drumline clinics at the Middle School
- Work with the Drumline Captains to develop a high-quality drumline
The following requirements must be on file before starting:
- Valid and Appropriate Ohio Teaching License or Pupil Activity Permit
- Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training Certificate of Completion
- Favorable State and Federal background checks
- Negative Drug Screen Result
