LANDSCAPING Crew Leader
SUMMARY

This department is responsible for maintaining the grounds of commercial properties in and around the Charlotte region.
The incumbent will operate power landscaping equipment such as commercial grade mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruners, etc. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks which may include any combination of mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, raking, digging, and any other landscaping or enhancement tasks. The incumbent must be able lift 50 pounds, be willing to work outdoors, have reliable transportation, strong drive, great attitude, and a good work ethic. A minimum of 2 years experience is preferred but not required. This is a full-time permanent position.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF LANDSCAPING CREW LEADER
- Manage team members to complete assigned properties and tasks
- Overall responsibility for completion, timeliness and quality of team's duties
- Perform landscaping maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, raking, pruning, digging, etc.
- Communicate well with supervisor and relay direction to team members
- Oversee maintenance of assigned commercial properties in a timely manner
- Display personal care for your properties and assigned tasks
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both employees and clients
- Responsible for assigned equipment and truck
JOB REQUIREMENTS OF LANDSCAPING Crew Lead
- 2 years of commercial landscaping experience preferred, but not required
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Ability to oversee the maintenance of properties
- Ability to load and unload equipment on to trucks
- Ability to work well with others and be a team player
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Have good work ethic
- Strong drive and will to succeed
- Willing to submit to Drug Test and Background Check
- Have a valid Driver's License/ID
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
