Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, bank reconciliations, processing vendor invoices and GL review. This role requires proficiency in corporate accounting practices, property management, and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping
- Bank reconciliations for operating accounts and credit card accounts, flagging discrepancies between bank activity and Real Page software
- process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding by property, account and expense type
- Review GL activity for reasonableness and completeness
- Ensure income and expenses are recorded in the correct period (accrual accounting)
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
- Utilize accounting software for efficient record keeping
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or as a bookkeeper
- Strong bank reconciliation experience
- Proficiency in accounts payable workflows
- Ability to write clear and concise financial reports
- High attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Experience with Real Page a plus
