Position Overview
AG Security Group Inc. is seeking a highly organized, reliable, and detail-driven Bookkeeper to support our finance, payroll, and HR operations. This position requires strong financial accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-venue environment. Position Summary
The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial reporting, account reconciliation, invoicing, payroll support, and general ledger maintenance. You will work closely with HR, management, and our venue partners to ensure smooth, timely financial operations and compliance across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor accounts
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare invoices, track payments, and assist with collections
Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping validation
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance reviews
Coordinate with HR and management on billing, scheduling, and financial discrepancies
Support tax preparation and filings by providing clean, accurate data
Assist with special projects, vendor audits, and financial reviews as needed
Preferred Background & Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2 years of bookkeeping experience (hospitality/nightlife experience a plus)
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and financial software systems
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-moving environment
Experience working with multi-location or shift-based companies a plus
