Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential property. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of property management practices, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations. This role will involve assisting in the management of tenant relations, maintenance requests, and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the property.
Duties
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property management, including tenant relations and lease administration.
- Maintain accurate tenant files and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
- Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with tenants while ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Manage maintenance requests by coordinating with facilities management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Support conflict management efforts by addressing tenant concerns and facilitating effective communication.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote vacancies through various sales strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and handle contracts with professionalism.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files and records.
- Proficient in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
