The Aurora R-VIII School District is currently accepting applications for a full-time, high school special education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Knowledge of the special education process and providing specialized services for students are required. It would be beneficial for applicants to have certification in special education along with another core area. Specifically looking for someone with ELA ... Aurora students attend school Monday-Thursday (4 days a week only) and has staff daycare (infant and toddler) available for a charge. This person needs good communication skills and must have the ability to differentiate instruction and provide strategies needed for student learning. The should be able to collaborate with others, develop plans to ensure learning, and utilize behavior strategies to help with motivating students and with student behaviors.
