Multi-Family Flooring Associate
Aurora Flooring LLC – Anchorage, Alaska
Pay: Base salary starts at $60,000, with flexibility for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications. DOE

Aurora Flooring LLC is hiring a Multi-Family Flooring Associate to manage flooring projects from start to finish—handling everything from measurements and estimating to installation, closeout, and final payment. This is a hands-on role for someone who is driven, communicates clearly, and can stay organized while managing multiple projects at once.

Schedule & Work Expectations
- Full-time: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call and occasional weekend work based on project needs
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Measuring & Takeoffs
- Accurately assess project scope and material requirements
- Visit job sites and take precise measurements
- Identify potential challenges before installation begins
Sales / Estimating
- Build detailed, competitive bids
- Ensure estimates are accurate and profitable
- Communicate clearly with clients and partners
Project Coordination & Scheduling
- Coordinate installers, materials, and timelines
- Communicate daily with crews and internal teams
- Resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track
Quality Control & Closeout
- Inspect installations and ensure quality standards
- Manage punch lists and final walkthroughs
- Deliver accurate project documentation
Invoicing & Payment Follow-Up
- Submit invoices on time
- Track payments and follow up as needed
- Support strong project cash flow
What a Typical Day Looks Like
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role. Your day may begin in the field taking measurements, shift into coordinating crews and solving project challenges, and end with updating estimates, invoices, and client communication.
Success requires organization, urgency, and adaptability while managing multiple projects.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
- Solid math skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to work in both field and office
- Self-motivated with strong ownership mindset
Preferred
- Experience in construction, flooring, or project coordination
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Willingness to work occasional Saturdays
- Ability to travel (up to 75%)
