What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events & Marketing Intern position at Aureum Leaders Circle?
About Aureum
Aureum is a private professional circle for recognized founders, C-suite executives, and investors — carefully vetted and intentionally curated around a simple belief: the right room changes everything.
Our purpose is to cultivate high-impact leadership, strengthen the relationships that shape industries and capital flows, and surface opportunities that rarely appear in public view. Aureum is not built around a platform or a typical networking model. Its value comes from the people who choose to be part of it — and from the trust that forms when exceptional individuals continue to show up over time.
Membership remains deliberately selective. Candidates are evaluated not only on their professional achievements, but also on their ethos, integrity, and their willingness to contribute to the life of the Circle while preserving the standards that define it.
Role Description — A First Seat in the Room
This internship is an invitation to step inside a world most professionals spend careers trying to access. You will work alongside Aureum’s founding and managing team to design meaningful member experiences, support our communications and marketing initiatives, and help bring the brand to life across both physical gatherings and digital platforms. You will learn how trust-driven communities operate, how exceptional events are crafted, and how relationships between founders, investors, and leaders are cultivated behind the scenes.
The Missions — Crafting the Experience
This is not a passive internship. You will be involved, trusted with discretion, and encouraged to bring curiosity, rigor, and thoughtful execution to everything you contribute.
Events & Member Experiences
- Assist in planning and executing both in-person and virtual gatherings for Aureum members;
- Research venues, partners, and experiential ideas aligned with the Circle’s aesthetic and standards;
- Coordinate event logistics including RSVPs, timelines, run-of-show documents, and day-of support;
- Contribute to shaping the overall experience — from concept and atmosphere to post-event follow-up;
- Support post-event reviews by compiling attendance data, insights, and feedback.
Marketing & Content
- Create and schedule content for Aureum’s social media channels, primarily LinkedIn and Instagram;
- Support the preparation of newsletters, member communications, and email campaigns;
- Assist in producing marketing materials including visuals, copy, and promotional assets;
- Track engagement metrics and audience growth to inform content strategy;
- Research community, media, and partnership opportunities that could expand Aureum’s reach;
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, collaborations, and creative activations.
What We Look For
We are not looking for a perfect resume. We are looking for someone curious, driven by intention, and committed to excellence.
You might be a strong fit if you:
- Are currently studying marketing, communications, event management, business, or a related field;
- Understand that a brand is built through consistency and attention to detail;
- Take pride in doing things well and actively seek the best resources and practices to improve your work;
- Value authenticity, humility, and continuous learning as much as ambition and performance;
- Use AI tools intelligently to increase efficiency while keeping critical thinking at the center of your work;
- Communicate clearly and thoughtfully — both in writing and in conversation;
- Are organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Bring initiative and positive energy to the teams you work with.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Email platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo;
- Photography or video editing;
- Content design tools such as Canva or Figma.
What You'll Gain
This internship is designed as a genuine exchange.
Through this experience, you will gain:
- Hands-on exposure to event production, marketing strategy, and community building;
- Direct collaboration with founders and operators building a premium professional network;
- The opportunity to build a tangible portfolio of campaigns, events, and projects;
- Access to select Aureum gatherings and exposure to an exceptional professional ecosystem;
- A close-knit, supportive team culture where your contributions are seen and valued.
For the right candidate, this role may evolve into a longer-term collaboration.
