Position Overview
The Assembler/Tester B is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and testing operations with minimal supervision to meet production and customer delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and testing using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and testing equipment.
- Utilize fixtures, inspection tools, and measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Record test results accurately using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering instructions, assembly routes, and test specifications.
- Assemble and inspect products to ensure compliance with quality and customer standards.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and suggest process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and FOD-free work environment.
- Ensure tools and equipment are calibrated per schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of general mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Basic understanding of mechanical processes and assembly techniques.
- Ability to select appropriate tools, procedures, and techniques.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
