Material Handler- Evening shift

Position Overview

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inbound and outbound material flow within the facility. This includes receiving, processing, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely delivery to internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries
• Accurately receive, verify, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Prepare and process shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading trucks
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order selectors
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and system updates
• Perform daily and monthly inventory counts, including zone counting
• Investigate discrepancies and initiate inventory adjustments as needed
• Process Material Destruction Orders (MDO) and dispose of non-conforming inventory
• Support rework and quality teams by locating and moving materials as required
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and GMP standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or related experience
• Experience with inventory systems (Oracle preferred)
• Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (or willingness to be certified)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes, including international shipments
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems
• Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and system errors

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse setting
• Requires standing, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shift
• Must follow all safety and compliance regulations
