Logistics Specialist

Position Summary

The Internal Logistics Specialist will support warehouse and supply chain operations by managing incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate inventory records, coordinating logistics activities, and maintaining compliance with procedures. This role requires strong SAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience in supply chain, logistics, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily warehousing activities including receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, loading, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure warehouse operations are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update ERP/SAP systems.
• Verify quality and accuracy of incoming materials before storage.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve shipment-related issues.
• Support inventory control activities, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
• Manage import/export documentation and logistics tracking.
• Monitor third-party logistics (3PL) and carrier performance.
• Generate reports and analyze logistics performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant supply chain/logistics experience.
• Candidates with an Associate degree and 8 years of related experience will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
• Previous experience with import/export operations and documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including:

• Advanced SAP experience required.
