Job Summary
AURA Salon & Spa is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spa Associate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service in a spa environment. As a Spa Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, assisting with needs, managing client flow and scheduling and promoting our range of spa products and services. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide product demonstrations will enhance the overall client experience. Hiring a candidate for exclusively Saturday & Sunday and another candidate for weekends. Please state your preference when applying.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and provide an excellent guest experience throughout the visit.
- Assist guests with scheduling appointments and managing their bookings by phone, in-person or by spa issued cellular text messaging.
- Promote spa services and products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage inventory through stocking shelves, merchandising products, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Handle transactions accurately while adhering to handling procedures.
- Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing guest accounts.
- Provide support to supervising staff as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the spa.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience with POS systems desirable.
- Ability to make meaningful recommendations of retail products and services effectively.
- Supervising experience is a plus, contributing to team leadership when required.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to present products attractively.
- A background in retail operations or hospitality can be beneficial but not mandatory.
