What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (School-Based) position at Aura Health?
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site services in a school setting.
Key responsibilities include: assessing students' communication skills, consulting with educators and parents, facilitating IEP meetings, instructing students to remediate speech and language deficits, preparing documentation, presenting professional information, researching intervention methods, and screening students for further assessment.
Additional duties: supporting colleagues and participating in meetings for information exchange and credential requirements.
Qualifications: relevant experience, proficiency in assessment tools, knowledge of policies, ability to develop IEPs, work independently and collaboratively, and physical ability to perform job functions. Must hold a valid speech therapy license, Washington State ESA Certificate, fingerprint clearance, and a driver’s license.
