Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: An Occupational Therapist provides personalized, one-on-one therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities, aiming to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver therapy sessions supporting patient wellness and functional independence.
• Document treatment progress accurately within the EMR system, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety, function, and aging-in-place strategies.
• Utilize telehealth and virtual care to extend access and flexibility when appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in practice state(s).
• Degree from an accredited OT program.
• Proficiency in basic computer and EMR use.
• CPR certification and physical ability to perform in-home care tasks.
