Locum Cardiologist for Outpatient Clinic

Position Overview: A licensed MD with board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is sought for outpatient clinic work. The role involves providing day shift cardiovascular care, managing approximately 16 adult patients daily, and performing echocardiograms and EKGs as part of routine assessments. Collaboration with APRN support is essential, and there are no call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical cardiovascular services in an outpatient setting
• Manage a caseload of adult patients, performing diagnostic procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases
• Experience in outpatient cardiovascular care

Work Environment: The facility is a 61-bed outpatient center with a Trauma Level IV designation, offering cardiovascular services without an ICU. Located in a vibrant area with outdoor and cultural attractions, it supports coordinated outpatient care in a day shift schedule.
