Role Overview: Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radioisotope and radiation detection methods under supervision.
Key Responsibilities: Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, processes imaging data, and provides images and analysis for physicians. Selects appropriate technical factors based on patient needs, ensuring safety and quality. Maintains compliance with regulatory standards, documents patient care activities, and manages supplies and equipment. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and educational activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine or radiation therapy program, with preferred certification from ARRT or CNMT. Experience is desirable, with acceptance of new graduates. Licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Basic Life Support certification are preferred.
Additional Details: Maintains a safe work environment, supports departmental workflows, and may participate in on-call weekend duties.
