Role: The Infection Prevention & Workforce Safety Coordinator (RN) leads infection prevention, employee health, and safety initiatives to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities: Manage infection control programs, set goals, monitor HAIs, conduct audits, oversee antibiotic stewardship, and educate staff. Coordinate employee health services, handle exposure assessments, immunizations, and workplace injury prevention. Support quality improvement, data reporting, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications: BSN and current RN license required, with at least three years of healthcare nursing or infection control experience. Certifications in Infection Control (CIC) and Patient Safety are required within three years of hire. Must complete CPI and Ukeru audits promptly.
Skills: Knowledge of infection prevention, CDC, OSHA, CMS standards, strong analytical skills, and ability to interpret data trends for improvement.
