Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including patient screening and medical history documentation
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
- Maintain clinical documentation and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver personalized patient care
- Participate in continuing education to develop clinical skills
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri or applicable state
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR certification
- Experience with digital x-rays, digital scanners, Velscope, Diagnodent, and electronic medical records is preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and a desire for continuous learning
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing, lifting up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
- Completion of TB test prior to employment (where applicable)
