Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointment, reappointment, and privileging processes for medical staff and providers.
- Manage onboarding activities such as orientation, documentation, and credentialing updates.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of provider records, communicating with departments and external agents.
- Assist with peer review, OPPE, and FPPE processes to evaluate provider competence.
- Support administrative functions like maintaining credentialing software, handling correspondence, and responding to verification requests.
- Collaborate with quality and PI teams to ensure timely evaluations and documentation.
- Handle sensitive medical staff issues confidentially and support the Office of Medical Administration.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least two years healthcare administrative or credentialing experience.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to pursue NAMSS CPCS certification within two years.
- Preferred experience in meeting coordination and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of medical staff policies, regulatory requirements, and credentialing software.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and providing quality support to medical staff and hospital departments.
