- Maintaining sterile technique and asepsis to ensure patient safety
- Assisting with skin prep, draping, and handling sterile supplies
- Preparing and managing surgical instruments and equipment
- Setting up and maintaining a sterile field with organization and dexterity
- Anticipating surgeon needs to facilitate procedures
- Responding effectively to emergencies with sound judgment
- Following infection control and safety protocols
- At least 1 year of experience in surgical settings
- Current surgical tech certification
