Overview

Ault’s Driver Education Center is seeking patient, professional individuals to join our team as Driving Instructors and Examiners. We are committed to fostering a safe, supportive environment for  learning for drivers of all ages across West Florida (Hillsborough to Charlotte County). No prior instruction experience is required; we provide all necessary training and state certification. 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, calm, and professional behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying experience levels.
• Conduct driver’s license examinations (for certified examiners) in accordance with state standards.
• Prepare students for road confidence and safety through structured private lessons and preparation for exams.
• Manage a flexible schedule, including coordinating private lessons and examination dates based on your availability.
• Maintain a company-provided vehicle, used for local instruction and testing near your residence. 

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of valid standard driving experience.
• License: Valid Florida Class E Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Driving Record: Clean record with no tickets or accidents within the last three years.
• Background: Must pass a criminal background check.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and a patient, professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills to maintain a coordinated schedule.
