Duties
- Safely lift, carry, and load items of various sizes and weights according to established procedures
- Securely transport goods between locations while following safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing items to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate records of items moved, including documentation for tracking purposes
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate moving schedules and address any issues promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as dollies, carts, and straps to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety guidelines related to manual handling, vehicle operation, and hazardous materials when applicable
Skills
- Knowledge of safety standards related to manual handling and transportation procedures
