What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Talent Acquisition position at Augusta National Golf Club?
This position is a full-time, on-site role in Augusta, GA.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive talent management strategies and programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Strategically partner with internal HR and functional hiring teams helping them to define, develop and implement recruiting strategy that matches their business needs
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting through offer negotiation, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
- Responsible for recruiting all Manager and above level roles as well as specialized/niche positions.
- Use passive sourcing and recruiting techniques including, but not limited to, referrals, databases, job boards, social media, career events, and networks to locate talent.
- Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines through sourcing strategies, networking, partnerships, and employer branding initiatives.
- Ensure positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Leverage recruiting metrics and analytics to monitor effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, job boards, and recruitment agencies to optimize talent sourcing efforts.
- Partner with the Intern Program Manager on the college recruiting process, including attending career fairs and events as well as establishing and maintaining year-round university relationships.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best practices in all recruitment activities.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, system implementations, and talent market research.
- Manage and mentor direct reports, ensuring high performance, professional development, and effective collaboration.

Relative Experience/Education:
- 5 years of experience in the Talent Acquisition field required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; five years’ direct Human Resources experience may be substituted for a formal degree
- Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC), preferred
Required License(s):
- Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program
Projected Work Schedule:
Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. May have some travel July through November.
