What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound/Sonographer II position at Augusta Health?
Reviews appointment schedules and suggests changes necessary to provide maximum use of the available resources (re: equipment and staff) in order to assure the most efficient service to the patients and physicians. Operates and maintains proficiency on all Ultrasound equipment within the department in order to provide quality imaging. Performs patient procedures and provides appropriate scanning techniques and images. Images are labeled with correct name and identification number.
$15,000 Sign on Bonus.
Experience Required:
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Successfully completion of physics boards and abdominal boards through ARDMS.
License Requirements:
- Candidate must be CPR Certified.
- Registered with ARDMS in Abdomen.
