Nurse - Radiology Special Procedures
Fisherville, VA
Description:
Provide nursing care in the day-to-day operations for pre and post procedural duties for scheduled and unscheduled patients and procedural nursing support. IR Nurses must demonstrate and have knowledge of an office setting and assist the IR Radiologist with patient care, education, patient recovery and pre and post testing for patient visits.
The IR Nurse will apply the various nursing skills, such as assessment, identifying problems, record keeping and documentation of the medical record, evaluating needs, etc., in caring for patients in the Radiology Department.
Requirements:
- 3 Years of clinical experience as an RN.
- Previous leadership and or Charge Nurse experience required.
- BSN required.
- Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.
- Two years of RN experience in procedural care nursing required.
- Intermediate competence in the application of nursing process.
- Previous angiography, procedural, and or cardiac cath experience desired
- Current Virginia state R.N. licensure
